Asheville is our nearest city — a short drive up the French Broad from our Fletcher kitchen. We render grass-fed tallow balm by hand just south of town and get it here faster than almost anywhere else we ship.
Asheville has always rewarded the handmade and the small-batch — a town of makers, old warehouses turned studios, tailgate markets, and folks who actually read an ingredient list. Tallow fits right in: an old mountain fat, rendered slow, with nothing added. From West Asheville to downtown, this is about as close to a hometown product as skincare gets.
Rendered from grass-fed suet, tallow carries the fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K. Render it low and slow from a clean fat and you get a mild, honest balm instead of something heavy and beefy.

Tallow is rendered beef fat. Its fatty-acid profile — mostly oleic, stearic, and palmitic — is close to the oils skin makes on its own, so it absorbs rather than sitting on top. Grass-fed tallow also carries the fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K.
In Fletcher, North Carolina, in the Blue Ridge foothills just south of Asheville. Every batch is rendered slow and whipped by hand in small runs.
Both use the same grass-fed tallow base. His is heavier and barely scented; Hers is whipped lighter and softened with a little honey.
