One recipe for him, one for her — both rendered the slow way from grass-fed suet, in small batches, by hand. Nothing added that doesn’t belong on skin.

Arden runs right into Fletcher — the two blur together along the south-Asheville corridor. If you're in Arden, our tallow is quite literally made down the road.
Arden and Fletcher share the same stretch of Blue Ridge foothills between Asheville and Hendersonville: the same back roads, the same schools, the same mountains out the window. There's no real "shipping" to Arden so much as carrying it over. Grass-fed, small-batch, and neighborly by pure geography.
Tallow is occlusive — it lays down a light barrier that slows water loss, which is most of what “moisturizing” dry skin actually means.
You won’t find us on a shelf in Arden — every jar comes straight from our kitchen in Fletcher, North Carolina to your door. No middleman, no store markup. The first batch is rendering now, and the waitlist gets it first.

Yes. We ship grass-fed tallow balm to Arden, North Carolina and across the United States. Every jar is rendered and jarred by hand in Fletcher, North Carolina.
It's our own climate — humid mountain summers, dry crisp winters, drying elevation — and we render specifically for it. Patch-test to start, as with anything.
Tallow is rendered beef fat. Its fatty-acid profile — mostly oleic, stearic, and palmitic — is close to the oils skin makes on its own, so it absorbs rather than sitting on top. Grass-fed tallow also carries the fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K.
Most lotions are mostly water, held together with emulsifiers and preserved to stay shelf-stable. A tallow balm skips the water entirely — just rendered grass-fed fat, whipped soft — so a little goes further and the ingredient list stays short.
Both use the same grass-fed tallow base. His is heavier and barely scented; Hers is whipped lighter and softened with a little honey.
No. Rendered low and slow and washed clean, tallow is close to scentless. His is left barely scented; Hers is softened with a little honey.
