We’re a couple-founded skincare brand rendering grass-fed tallow balm by hand in Fletcher, North Carolina, and shipping it to Blacksburg, Virginia.
Every batch is rendered and jarred by hand in Fletcher, North Carolina, then shipped straight to Blacksburg. The same small-batch balm reaches you across the Mid-Atlantic. Blacksburg is about 170 miles from our kitchen — orders typically arrive in 1–2 days.
The Mid-Atlantic is humid in summer and damp-cold in winter, with indoor heat drying things for months. Skin in Blacksburg sees both greasy-humid and tight-dry in the same year. Whipped tallow absorbs without feeling heavy in the humidity, then seals against the cold when you need it.
Palmitic and stearic acids give tallow its structure and its seal — they’re the part that stays put and protects wind-worn or chapped skin.
You won’t find us on a shelf in Blacksburg — every jar comes straight from our kitchen in Fletcher, North Carolina to your door. No middleman, no store markup. The first batch is rendering now, and the waitlist gets it first.

Yes. Blacksburg is about 170 miles from our kitchen in Fletcher, North Carolina, and orders typically arrive in 1–2 days. We ship grass-fed tallow balm across the United States.
Humid summers and damp-cold winters ask a lot of skin. Whipped tallow absorbs in the humidity and seals in the cold, so it works across the year. Patch-test first.
Tallow is rendered beef fat. Its fatty-acid profile — mostly oleic, stearic, and palmitic — is close to the oils skin makes on its own, so it absorbs rather than sitting on top. Grass-fed tallow also carries the fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K.
Most lotions are mostly water, held together with emulsifiers and preserved to stay shelf-stable. A tallow balm skips the water entirely — just rendered grass-fed fat, whipped soft — so a little goes further and the ingredient list stays short.
Both use the same grass-fed tallow base. His is heavier and barely scented; Hers is whipped lighter and softened with a little honey.
No. Rendered low and slow and washed clean, tallow is close to scentless. His is left barely scented; Hers is softened with a little honey.
