We’re a couple-founded skincare brand rendering grass-fed tallow balm by hand in Fletcher, North Carolina, and shipping it to Anchorage, Alaska.
Every batch is rendered and jarred by hand in Fletcher, North Carolina, then shipped straight to Anchorage. The same small-batch balm reaches you across Alaska. Anchorage is about 3,371 miles from our kitchen — orders typically arrive in 4–5 days.
Few places are harder on skin than Alaska — deep cold, long dry winters, and wind, with heated indoor air the rest of the time. Skin in Anchorage needs a real barrier, not a splash of lotion. A heavier seal of tallow is about as built-for-this as a simple balm gets.
Because it’s a whole rendered fat and not a water-based lotion, there’s no water phase to hold together — so no emulsifiers and no preservative system. A short ingredient list by nature.
You won’t find us on a shelf in Anchorage — every jar comes straight from our kitchen in Fletcher, North Carolina to your door. No middleman, no store markup. The first batch is rendering now, and the waitlist gets it first.

Yes. Anchorage is about 3,371 miles from our kitchen in Fletcher, North Carolina, and orders typically arrive in 4–5 days. We ship grass-fed tallow balm across the United States.
Deep cold, long dry winters, and heated indoor air make skin here work hard, and a heavier seal of tallow gives it a real barrier. Start with a little and patch-test.
Tallow is rendered beef fat. Its fatty-acid profile — mostly oleic, stearic, and palmitic — is close to the oils skin makes on its own, so it absorbs rather than sitting on top. Grass-fed tallow also carries the fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K.
Most lotions are mostly water, held together with emulsifiers and preserved to stay shelf-stable. A tallow balm skips the water entirely — just rendered grass-fed fat, whipped soft — so a little goes further and the ingredient list stays short.
Both use the same grass-fed tallow base. His is heavier and barely scented; Hers is whipped lighter and softened with a little honey.
Used right, no. Ours is whipped, and a pea-sized amount melts in and absorbs. If it feels greasy, that usually means you used too much — tallow is concentrated, so less is more.
